Uplighting

Fixtures are placed at the bottom of the walls so the light can be projected up the entire wall.

Monograms

A light will project your monogram (initials) on to the dance floor and/or wall. You may commonly see this called a “gobo”. You supply us with the monogram (or we can create one for you), we get it cut and place the monogram in the fixture. The fixture will then be elevated over the DJ. The monogram is projected on the floor/wall for the entire event.

Dance Floor Wash

This is when we project colored light on to the dance floor and/or ceiling so your guests are not dancing in a dark room. This could also be lighting for the DJ. Most of the time the lighting is mounted on a stand to the left and right of the DJ and elevated about 8 to 12 feet in the air. Different patterns can be projected to add depth and design. When combined with a Monogram, this creates an incomparable elegance. When purchasing this service, the traditional DJ "club" lighting is typically not used.

Complete Video Service

In this service, Rhythm in Motion will provide a 2500 Lumen Projector and a 10 foot wide video screen. This equipment is used to project your photo montages during the dinner hour. In addition, with the help of your photographer, we can show wedding day photos during your cocktail hour. This system is a must add if you intend to have a photo montage which requires piping the sound through our sound system.
